At Ausy, we strive to be a partner throughout your entire career. We keep on supporting you when you take on new challenges.

Working at the same company your entire life is an ideal from another time. We know that too. But maybe you’ll see a new interesting opportunity at Ausy after you’ve accepted another challenge.

Or maybe we’ll have a job offer that we know you would love… At that moment, we’ll want to see you again! Our door is always open for you.

That’s how it went with Kenny, who we called when we noticed that we could offer him a position that was just right for him.

In 2016, Kenny started at Ausy as a system engineer. He quickly grew into the role of team lead for the internal systems team, and he combined this with his technical role.

But after a while, he wanted to focus more on his role as team lead: he felt that his ambition was not with his technical role, and that he wasn’t growing in that role anymore. Because we couldn’t offer him another opportunity at that moment, Kenny accepted a challenge elsewhere.

A year later, he came back to Ausy. Why did he want to return, and how does he like his new position? We’ll let him tell you himself!

personal ambition.

“Last summer, an ex-colleague at Ausy contacted me”, Kenny tells us. “If I wanted to come back to Ausy, this time as a service delivery manager? To be honest, I didn’t have to think twice about it. I had previously accepted another challenge because I felt I was stuck in my technical role at Ausy, and there was no other challenge for me at that moment.”

“But as a service delivery manager, I get to learn so many new things, and I get to realize my personal ambition. I support clients, and I get to work on a new project that I can help get on the road. It’s obviously a huge responsibility, but I love it. I also learn a lot from it, and that’s what I’m looking for in a job.”

work hard, play hard.

Kenny: “My motto is work hard, play hard. When certain goals have to be achieved, we all work together and we often get great rewards for our results. Everyone does their share, from supporting colleagues to the management level - I’ve never met anyone at Ausy that doesn’t want to work hard.”

“But I also appreciate the flexibility and the trust I get here”, Kenny continues. “In these uncertain times, it’s not always easy to manage everything all at once. The company understands this. Would you like to start a little later in the morning so you can drive your kids to school? No problem! Do you prefer to start and stop early? Go ahead! This creates a great working atmosphere.”

“Everyone at the company has a certain can-do attitude. The bar is often put quite high: you need to get out of your comfort zone to reach your goals, but when you do, it feels great.”

If I wanted to come back to Ausy, this time as a service delivery manager? I didn't have to think twice about it!

no 2 days are the same.

“That flexibility has to go both ways, though”, Kenny says. “You can plan your week, but there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to stick to your planning. By Tuesday, my schedule is usually already a mess… ;-)”

“I like that chaos. No 2 days are the same, so I’m never bored here. And it keeps my job challenging.”

gut feeling.

Kenny: “Sometimes, you just have to trust your gut feeling. I feel good at Ausy, I love the mentality and the atmosphere, and I feel like I can communicate honestly about the positive as well as the negative aspects of my job.”

“Ausy’s core values are trust, entrepreneurship and team spirit”, Kenny continues. “Even though I can relate to all 3, I identify mostly with the last one. I love working in a team. I think it’s important to get a second opinion from time to time, and to discuss certain issues with my colleagues. I also don’t like working on an island… I work best when I’m surrounded by other people.”

“In the meantime, I have settled in my role at Ausy, and I plan on staying a while! ;-)”
