API link automatically publishes job openings for NN Belgium

Who is NN Belgium?

NN is a brand new insurance company with a rich history in Belgium. The roots go back to De Vaderlandsche, and they share their recent past with ING.

NN has a clear view of the future that puts people and their wishes first. The company wants to help their clients to protect what they find valuable so that they will face a secure financial future. That goal is the reason why NN was founded.

How do we help NN Belgium?

In the spring of 2015, we created the new website for NN Belgium. The site was based on the existing branding of NN Belgium. We developed the entire concept and information architecture in wireframes. After approval, we converted those wireframes to graphical designs.

Next to the more traditional content elements like press releases, introducing the services and the CRS part, we realized an API link with NN's internal HR system. That way, job openings are automatically retrieved out of the HR system and posted on the website. Moreover, applications via the website are automatically reimported into the system for further follow-up.

When we finished the project, an external bureau screened the site regarding security and data privacy. The website only could go into production after this audit.

Customized support

We also helped NN to start using the website. We created different customized Google Analytics dashboards, we gave advice regarding the setup and configuration of the social media channels, and we organized a training "Writing for the web" for a few employees.

Extra campaign rewards most sporty clients

During the fall of  2015, we added 3 additional campaign elements to the website. The most remarkable element is the NN Stay Active campaign that encouraged clients to live healthier in exchange for a discount on their life insurance.

NN handed out 500 Fitbit smart watches to their customers, while we created a web application that retrieves information on the daily physical activities of clients. That way, NN can reward the most sporty, and hence most healthy, clients.
